Prepare The Surface Before Applying

1. Clean The Surface

Remove dust, loose dirt, grease, flaking finishes and other contamination that could prevent even absorption.

2. Allow The Wood To Dry

Apply only to a dry surface. Trapped moisture can affect penetration, appearance and drying performance.

3. Patch-Test First

Apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area and allow it to dry so you can check color, sheen and compatibility before treating the entire surface.

4. Apply A Thin, Even Coat

Spread the product evenly with the supplied brush, following the wood grain where practical and avoiding excessive pooling.

5. Allow To Dry Before Use

Allow the treated surface to dry and cure according to the product instructions before exposing it to rain, snow, heavy handling or foot traffic.
